Simply Red This year Mick Hucknall celebrates 25 years of unbroken service with the band he founded, fronted and named. Simply Red emerged out of the streets and clubs of Manchester in the post-punk era of 1984 and within 12 months were riding in the British charts, with songs like "Holding Back the Years","Money's Too Tight (To Mention)" and "If You Don't Know Me By Now"
In the run up to Simply Red’s silver anniversary, Hucknall undertook the unenviable task of producing the ultimate Simply Red collection. Released in November 2008, ‘The Greatest Hits 25’ double CD features the top 25 Simply Red tracks from the past two and half decades and includes a brand new cover version of the Moody Blues 1960s smash hit Go Now.
For a band with all-time worldwide sales of over 50 million and 30 top 40 UK hits to their credit – in addition to having played over a 1000 concerts to more then 10 million people – Simply Red are set to create more records with their Greatest Hits and the 2009 world tour.

Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel If you mention the name Steve Harley, or his band Cockney Rebel to anyone, the first thing that springs to mind is 'Make Me Smile(Come Up And See Me)'....the song which propelled Harley and his bandmates to Number 1 in the UK and across Europe in 1975. The song has since been covered more than 100 times, and recorded in 7 different languages. But that's not all we have to thank Steve Harley for. During his career, he has had a string of hits with songs like, 'Judy Teen', 'Mr Soft', 'Here comes the Sun' and 'Phantom of the Opera' (with Sarah Brightman) both solo and with Cockney Rebel.
As well as being an incredible lyricist, having written songs for several other artists including his old friend Rod Stewart who once called him “One of the finest lyricists the UK has ever produced”, Steve has also appeared in New York and London, as Christopher Marlowe in the critically acclaimed musical-drama Marlowe.
Now in 2009, Steve is back in the studio recording his latest album 'Stranger Comes to Town', and gearing up for its release and a full UK tour in 2010.

Eric Bibb Eric Bibb was given his first steel-string guitar aged seven. By Junior High School, Eric was consumed by music. "I would cut school and claim I was sick" said Bibb. "When everyone would leave the house I would whip out all the records and do my own personal DJ thing all day long, playing Odetta, Joan Baez, The New Lost City Ramblers, Josh White."
After many years honing his skill, whilst living in Europe, Eric Bibb's first album 'Good Stuff' was released in 1997 to critical acclaim. Since then Eric Bibb has recorded with many other artists, most notably his father, and musical hero Leon, on the record 'A Family Affair' in 2002.
Following the success of 2005's album 'A Ship Called love', which was nominated for the Acoustic Album of the Year at the 2006 Blues Music Awards, 2008 saw the release of Eric’s latest album, 'Get Onboard'.
The album features a stellar line-up of musicians - the Nashville band included producer Glen Scott on keyboards and backing vocals, Tommy Sims ( Bruce Springsteen, Kelly Clarkson, Eric Clapton) on guitar, bass and backing vocals, Lemar Carter on drums ( Carrie Underwood, Joss Stone, India.Arie) and other Nashville musical luminaries.
2010 sees Eric return for a string of UK dates as part of his world tour.
